Senate now debates PT#2 of Health Care process
Now that the Senate Health care bill has been signed into law, Members of the House that changed their vote from last November to support this HC bill are watching the Senate will some nervousness. You see the law of the land includes the NE “corn husker kickback” the FL “gator Aid” and the ND ”Bismark Bank deal” just to name a few. The reconciliation/corrections bill that is pending in the Senate removes those provisions; something these Democratic members of the House desperately need to see done.
Also included in the corrections bill is an entire take over of the Student loan industry by the Federal Government. Prior to this legislation, about 80% of the student loan biz was run by private businesses. This bill allows the entire industry to be taken over and run by the Dept. of Education.
Members of the Senate will try to correct this bill by striking provisions, raising points of order against non-budget provisions and offering amdts. See how reconciliation process will play out in this video from actual Senate footage:

If any of these efforts are successful, then the bill must return to the House for another HC vote. Stay tuned!
